Upcoming maintenance: some services unavailable 26-29 May 2025

We’ve recently identified an issue in the system that runs our popular River Ride feature. It’s important that we complete the necessary repairs and maintenance work soon.

What does this mean for your visit to H₂O Xtream?

Works will start on Monday, 26 May 2025, at 10.00AM and is expected to be completed by Friday, 30 May 2025, at 5.30AM.

While works are under way:

• Our Leisure Pool and slides will be unavailable. To complete the repairs as safely and quickly as possible, we need to drain the Leisure Pool completely—this also impacts the operation of our slides.
• Our River Ride and Wave Pool features won’t be operating.
• Aqua jogging will be on hold.

All the following services and features will be available to enjoy as usual:

• our lane pool (all 8 lanes), and our regular aqua aerobics (hydrorobics) classes;
• the newly refurbished steam room, sauna, and spa, ready to help you relax and unwind;
• the entire Junior Leisure Area, including our interactive splash pad, popular toddler pool, and the junior play pool, our newest addition to support young swimmers.

H₂O Xtream has only just reopened. Why do we need to make some repairs now?

We understand that it’s frustrating to see the Leisure Pool and slides closed off for a few days when we’ve only just reopened H₂O Xtream and brought back some of our iconic features (like the River Ride).

Unexpected issues do happen. By undertaking this necessary work straight away, we minimise the risk of more costly or extended repairs down the track.

Our priority is to offer our community and visitors from the wider region a great aquatic facility to swim, be active, have fun, and relax.
