Levels and classes

All babies and toddlers under 4 years are required to wear waterproof nappies while in the pool.
Pipis (6-12 months)
Our Pipis swim class is recommended for children aged 6 to 12 months.
It is designed to help young swimmers build water confidence with assisted entries, floats, sitting dives, and monkey crawling along the wall.
They will also develop breath control through gentle water pouring and happy submersions.
Tadpoles (10-18 months)
Our Tadpoles class is recommended for children aged 10 months to 18 months.
Young swimmers will start to develop independence in the water. We encourage this through unassisted entries and exits, monkey crawling, and sitting dives with a rollover to their back.
They will also practice assisted front and back floats and will be introduced to kicking and swimming to an adult with support.
Ducks (15-24 months)
Our Ducks swim class is suitable for swimmers aged between 15 months and 24 months.
It is designed to help swimmers develop confidence with unassisted entries and exits, assisted floats and kicks, and sitting dives with a turn and paddle back to the wall.
Goldfish (18-30 months)
Goldfish is an advanced early childhood class for ages 18 months to 30 months.
Building confidence and independence in the water is the main focus. Toddlers will practice unassisted entries, floats, and sitting dives with a turn and paddle back to the wall.
They will also develop kicking skills, paddle to a parent or the wall, and retrieve objects from the pool floor while blowing bubbles.
Angelfish (24-36 months)
We recommend our Angelfish class for less confident swimmers aged between 24 months and 36 months.
It focuses on supporting swimmers to slowly build independence with unassisted entries, floats, and front kicks.
Toddlers will also practice assisted back kicking, paddling to a parent or to the wall, and sitting dives with a turn and return to the wall.
Otters (30-36 months)
The Otters swim class is the best choice for very confident young kids aged between 30 months and 36 months.
This class continues to build their confidence and focuses on achieving greater independence in the water, through unassisted entries, kicks, and sitting dives with a turn and paddle across the pool.
They will also master unassisted doggy paddle, pin-drop with a turn back to the wall, and perform unassisted bunny hops.
