Aqua jogging

Aqua jogging (or water running) is for everyone – it’s a proven method of exercise that is low impact on your joints and muscles and is very effective due to the water resistance. It is a good option for all ages and levels of fitness.

We provide you with belts that help maintain an upright position and support you in the water. Just by jogging or walking regularly you will see benefits to your health, fitness level and it can also help with therapy and rehabilitation. 

Session times

The Leisure Pool is set aside for Aqua Jogging at regular times during the week. Just look for the posted signs around the pool to see the area available for aqua jogging.

  • Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 10.00am
  • Weekends & Public Holidays: 8:00am – 10.00am 

If those times don’t suit, or you’d like a shallower option, you can always try jogging in the lane pool and give lane running a go.
