An update on the pool temperatures at H₂O Xtream
Published on 04 June 2025
We know how important a comfortable pool temperature is and have taken on board recent feedback about the fact that the water temperature in some of our pool areas has missed the mark.
Our team has checked, tested, and adjusted the temperature over the past few weeks to ensure an enjoyable experience.
We know our customers visit H₂O Xtream to make the most of our services – whether that’s Aqua Aerobics, Learn to Swim classes, or something else – and offering you a fantastic facility for active recreation, play, and wellness is our top priority.
An overview of temperatures, testing, and outcomes
As part of our testing, we discovered that the information on our electronic measuring system didn’t reflect actual temperatures. We’re happy to report that this issue has now been fixed.
Junior Play Pool: We also found that the water circulation set-up caused occasional drops in temperature and have made some adjustments. The water in this pool is set to a comfortable 31.5°C – please be aware the area may feel a little cooler due to the surrounding air, but the pool water itself is at its optimal temperature.
Leisure Pool: This pool sits at a steady 29°C, which is ideal for having a splash, being active, and enjoying our pool leisure features.
Lane Pool: Before the refurbishment, this pool used to get extra warmth through the connecting corridor from our Leisure Pool. That link is no longer in place, so the Lane Pool may appear colder than it used to. Our Lane Pool is set to 28.5°C which is a standard operating temperature for this type of pool.
Spa Pool: Ideal for having a soak and unwinding, our small Spa Pool brings you comfort and relaxation at 38°C.
Thank you for sharing feedback and letting our team know that things needed adjusting.
We’re still finetuning things following H₂O Xtream’s major refurbishment, and feedback from our community helps us to ensure a great aquatic experience for everyone.
