Sauna maintenance: boards getting replaced

Work end: Friday, 13 February 2026 (sauna opens again)
What work is being carried out?
Contractors are replacing the boards in our sauna's sitting and standing area. During H₂O Xtream’s redevelopment the incorrect timber was installed. This is now getting rectified at no additional cost to ratepayers.
The new boards offer increased durability, to reduce the risk of further sauna closures and ongoing repair works. Installation will take place 11-12 February.
Offering customers a great aquatic experience is important to us, which is why this work is scheduled to take place now.
H₂O Xtream is open as usual
Our facility continues to be open during this time, including all regular programmes and classes, such as daily aqua jogging, aqua aerobics, and swim lessons.
Other wellness spots (steam room and spa) will also continue to operate, bringing you a perfect mix of relaxation and aquatic leisure seven days a week.
If you visit us between 11-12 February, please be prepared for contractors and additional signage on site. We may also have barriers in place for your safety.
