We run two programmes:

Surf’s Up (for ages 5 – 8 Years)
Hang Ten (for ages 9 – 13 years)

All our staff are police-vetted and we will always ensure that there are first-aid trained staff onsite to keep your tamariki and rangitahi safe. The H2O Xtream Holiday Programme has adopted the ratios of 1:12 on-site and 1:10 off-site as recommended*.

We will be running a mix of both trip and base days to keep the children entertained and active.

Note: 

Our holiday programme runs from 8.00AM to 5.00PM, Mondays to Fridays.

On-site after hours rates apply between 7.00AM to 8.00AM and 5.00PM to 6.00PM.

 

 

WINZ OSCAR Subsidies

We are MSD approved and registered. Families may be eligible for the WINZ OSCAR Subsidy.

Please contact your local Work and Income office or visit www.workandincome.govt.nz for more information. 

If you qualify for WINZ OSCAR Subsidy, please do not use our online booking system. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions below on how to make your booking if you qualify for WINZ OSCAR Subsidy(PDF, 94KB) .

Ratios:* We do exercise discretion to modify the ratios, on a case-by-case basis, when confident and comfortable that doing so will maintain the safety of all children on the programme.

 

Online booking is now available and it is quick, easy and secure.

Go to the section "Book online now" on this web page and click the button that applies to you.

If you are an existing customer, follow the prompts to complete the booking. You will need your login information. Select your programme activities and then check out your cart.  Enter your credit card details and proceed with payment. 

If you are a new customer, set up your login information and make sure you have verified your email address.  Then login and select your programme activities and check out your cart.  Enter your credit card details and proceed with payment.

Once payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation that captures a breakdown of what you have booked and the amount paid. 

 

If you qualify for WINZ OSCAR Subsidy, please DO NOT USE our online booking options. 

You are required to complete two forms - a manual booking form and the WINZ Subsidy form. These forms are now available at HAPAI Service Centre and you can also email h2oholidays@uhcc.govt.nz to request for the two forms. You can download your WINZ Subsidy Form in the right hand side of this web page under "Forms and documents".

Once you have completed the two forms, please drop them off to our Customer Service Officer at HAPAI Service Centre at 879-881 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt Central, Upper Hutt 5018. You can also scan the completed forms and email them to h2oholidays@uhcc.govt.nz

Please be aware that we are unable to take bookings for the Holiday Programme via telephone.

Simply secure your booking using our online booking system.  It is easy to use. Go to "Book online now" on this web page and follow the instructions.

 

Once you have completed your booking and make payment, you will receive an email confirmation that your booking has been processed.  There will be a breakdown of your selection and the amount paid in that email confirmation.

Please email h2oholidays@uhcc.govt.nz to advise us in writing of your child's absence at least 48 hours before the session commences.

If you have provided at least 48 hours in writing of a cancellation, refunds will be arranged.

No credits or refunds will be given where a session is missed or when the notice period is less than 48 hours in writing.

 

It is extremely important we know if your child has a medical condition or is on medication.

When you are completing your online booking, there is an option for you to enter medical information pertaining to your child. 

If you are making a walk-in booking at HAPAI Service Centre, you are required to complete the Medical Form which can be found under "Forms and documents" on the right hand side of this web page. 

 

If you have complaints about the programme or staff members, you can:

1. Approach the programme supervisor who will attempt to resolve the matter.

2. If you are still unsatisfied, you should contact the Recreation Services Manager.

3. Further concerns/complaints must be made in writing and must contain details of the grievance and desired outcomes. The Recreation Services Manager will respond to the complaint within 14 days. Where possible, a mutually agreeable outcome will be sought.

If you wish to take the matter further, you can raise it with Te Kāhui Kāhu - the Social Sector Accreditation Team, who are responsible for granting the programme accreditation as an OSCAR provider. Go to www.tekahuikahu.govt.nz for further information.
